Hey there! My name is Maddie Troyer and I am a sophmore at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. Over the last four years I have grown to enjoy learning about nutrition and practicing a “healthy” lifestyle. I say healthy in quotations because what I thought was healthy for a very long time was actually damaging my body (you can read more about My Story here ). In these last few months at school I realized I had a strong passion for nutrition and healthy living, and I wanted to be able to help people understand that living a healthy lifestyle is not as hard, and unattainable as they may think. Therefore, I changed my major from Zoology (I am a huge animal lover, also!) to Exercise Science, so I can later get my masters in Nutrition and Dietetics. I also want to emphasize to people that all body shapes and sizes are beautiful and they should not be dieting or restriting to get to that “perfect” body. We should be LIVING.
I hope that through this blog I will help inspire others to live their life to their fullest potential without restriction WHILE still getting the strong and healthy body they deserve, through active living and intuitive/holistic eating. God made each one of us perfect in his image, so we should stop judging his creation (ours and others bodies) and begin to love, nourish, and appreciate ourselves!
My motto verse is Proverbs 14:30:
“The life of the body is a heart at peace, but envy rots the bones.”
